There were MUCH better late Dark Stars she could have chosen. Miami 89 is certainly a great one, but how about 3/29/90 with Branford? 7/12/90? 9/20/90? 12/31/90 (again with Branford)? See a pattern here?

I'd take 7/13/84 DS over any of the post coma versions...but I'm still not silly enough to think it rates up there with any of the 68-74 versions just because I was there and it blew my mind - that and the purple gels. What a way to walk out of a show...I love the long pause before the audience starts to cheer at the end.

I found almost all of the '89 onward versions to be just a little bit more than flute/tinkle keys space with massive amounts of delay and echo.
